Siegfried Wiesböck (Sigi)
Siegfried Wiesböck (Sigi) was a humorous, intelligent and big-hearted man who supported our Baltic Sea Heritage Rescue Project and also the Baltic Sea Nature & Heritage Protection Association e.V. in many ways.
I like to think back to the encouraging and encouraging conversations with him, which helped me a lot in the development phase of the project. Sigi would have been very happy to support us as a diver on one of our project weeks in Lithuania with the recovery of ghost nets. He had firmly planned to do this in the future.
Unfortunately, he can no longer accompany us. Siegfried Wiesböck died on 23.09.2021. We will not forget Sigi. From 21.05. to 27.05.2022 we will again recover ghost nets from the wreck of the SS Edith Bosselmann in Lithuania. For one whole day we will do this in the name and honor of Siegfried.
We would like to thank Siegfried's family who asked for a donation for our project instead of flowers during Siegfried's funeral at a forest cemetery.
